Do I need an electric Hookup?

The Motorhome uses 3 different systems for power

1. Gas
2. Electric hookup
3. Leisure battery

The gas will run the fridge/freezer, the hob, the rear gas heater and the hot water system.
The leisure battery only powers the internal lights.
If you have access to an electric hookup you can use the air conditioning unit, which gives both hot and cold air, and you can use the plug sockets for appliances such as the toaster, phone chargers, hairdryers/straighteners etc.

Why do I have to pay a £750 security deposit?

The security deposit is refundable upon safe return of the motorhome, undamaged, on time, with a clean interior, a clean toilet cassette, at least half a tank of fuel, and emptied of all personal belongings. In the event of damage to the vehicle your deposit, or part of, would go toward the repair. £750 is also our insurance excess therefore if you need to make a claim this would be your maximum liability.

What is the minimum hire period?

The minimum hire period is 2 nights.

Can we take our dog(s)?

We do accept well behaved dogs, however we do ask for an additional £30 to cover the extra cleaning cost. Any damage caused by your dog will be taken from the security deposit this is included but not limited to; scratching, urinating, biting etc.

Can we leave our vehicle with you?

Yes, you may leave your vehicle with us at your own risk. We can arrange collection from our local train station, Burton On Trent, if you wish to leave your vehicle at home.

Why can I not collect the motorhome until 2pm and why does it have to be returned by 11am?

Sometimes the motorhome is hired out the same day it is being returned by the previous hirer. In order to allow plenty of time to clean and service the vehicle we ask you to adhere to these times. If there is nobody else hiring out the vehicle after you we can, by prior arrangement, accept a later return, this may be subject to an additional charge for insurance purposes. If there is nobody hiring the motorhome before you we can, by prior arrangement, organize an early collection.

Am I insured to drive the vehicle?

The price of hire includes insurance for one driver in the UK only. Extra charges may apply if this driver has points or motoring convictions. Additional drivers can be added for an additional cost-price on application.

Can the motorhome be taken abroad?

The motorhome can be taken abroad for an additional insurance fee- price on application. You must also provide proof of breakdown cover for the duration of your hire period and breakdown cover must include repatriation to our address in the UK.

Is breakdown cover included?

UK breakdown cover is included in the hire cost, however if you wish to take the motorhome abroad you must provide your own breakdown cover, this is due to the cost of this additional breakdown cover.
